At this significant moment in our school’s history, alumnae, their parents, staff and governors are coming together to create a new ‘OGA Alumnae 150th Anniversary Bursary’. 

Ensuring our culture remains aspirational yet grounded as the pioneering women who set up the school one hundred and fifty years ago wished it to be is ever more challenging. This new bursary will help ensure that talented young women in our local area who otherwise couldn’t dream of such an education can come and thrive here. It will be transformational, i.e. it will only be awarded to a family that needs 95%+ fee support. 

Today is NHEHS’s first ever Giving Day, and a first for the GDST - an opportunity for you to get involved and support the school and our ambition to be accessible to those young women for whom it would make the biggest difference.

We only have 36 hours, so, whether you were writing in exercise books or marking them, working within the school gates or collecting outside of them, whether you are aged 19 or 99 your gift, of whatever size, will have its biggest impact today. Everyone makes a difference.
